Muharram Mourning Programs in Brazil

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On the occasion of the month of Muharram, martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions, mourning ceremonies will be held in Brazil.  The programs will begin from the 1st of Muharram and continues during the first decade of the month.  Like previous years, Mohammad Rasulollah Mosque in Sao Paulo city hosts the ceremonies.  Programs on various religious occasions are annually held in this country with participation of a large number of Brazilian Muslims whose number increases to over 500 people in special programs during the month of Muharram./129
